NumberTV is an app for Android TV and Google TV that lets you type a channel number to change channels in YouTube TV. There is also a NumberTV remote with number keys, volume, mute and TV power, coming soon.
An Android TV or Google TV device, a YouTube TV subscription and the NumberTV app ($15 on Google Play). The NumberTV remote is optional.
The app is sold on Google Play only. Use any “Get the app on Google Play” button on this site to open its Google Play page, then install it on your Android TV or Google TV device. The setup guide walks through each step.
Android’s Accessibility permission lets an app act on the screen on your behalf. NumberTV uses it to enter the channel number you type into YouTube TV. Google has approved the app’s use of this permission.
We will share the full details before the remote ships.
NumberTV is built for Android TV and Google TV. We have not tested other devices, so we cannot promise they work.
